Wheel acrobats do tricks in a large wheel or hoop known as the Rhönrad or German wheel. The large wheel consists of two circles, which are connected with six spokes. The diameter of the wheel depends on the length of the acrobat, so that the acrobat can hold him/herself on the grips when fully stretched.
